  • Leo Ghitis, Co-Founder

    Leo is a co-founder of GPC Partners and has over 35 years of investment experience in commercial real estate. Prior to founding GPC, Leo was a senior partner at Trammell Crow Company (TCC) in charge of South Florida. At TCC, Leo developed over 3,000,000 square feet of Class A commercial property while helping the firm grow to be one of the nation’s largest development firms. Alongside GPC, Leo has played a pivotal role in the formation, growth, and successful exits of severable sizable operating businesses. Leo received an M.B.A from Harvard Business School and graduated with a B.S. and honors from Georgia Tech University. He is based in the firm’s Florida office. 

  • Jonathan Ghitis, Co-Founder

    Jonathan is a co-founder of GPC Partners alongside Leo Ghitis. At GPC Partners, Jonathan has transacted on >$1,000,000,000 of commercial real estate investments managing debt and equity capital on behalf many premier financial institutions. Prior to founding GPC, Jonathan spent 10 years in various investment roles across public and private markets. Among those roles was as a Vice President at a real estate private equity fund where he was responsible for deal origination, underwriting, and structuring of $250mm of real estate transactions. Jonathan began his career at Paulson & Co. Inc. where he helped manage a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. Jonathan received an MBA from the Wharton School of Business (real estate concentration) and graduated with a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. He is based in the firm’s New York office.

  • Isaac Gilinski, Chairman

    Isaac Gilinski has a substantial track record of acquiring, operating and investing in both private and public companies and real estate assets across Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. Isaac’s track record includes some of the largest transactions in Latin America over the past ten years including the acquisition and privatization and subsequent IPO of Banco de Colombia and the acquisition and merger of Banco Sudameris and Banco Tequendama, as well as subsequent bolt-on acquisitions of other financial service companies resulting in one of the largest privately held banks in Latin America. Additional holdings include an industrial conglomerate with a significant market share in plastics, snacks and pharmaceutical products. Isaac has held several prominent diplomatic posts including ambassadorships to Israel and the United Nations.

  • Sam Ward, Senior Associate

    Prior to joining GPC Partners, Sam worked at multifamily fund manager LEM Capital, where he worked on the acquisitions team. Prior to LEM, Sam worked as Project Executive with JG Petrucci Company, a regional industrial and multifamily developer. He supported the development team with acquisitions, land development approvals, and underwriting for ground-up development projects. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, Sam was captain of the Varsity Lightweight rowing team as well as a 2x member of the U.S National rowing team.

  • Adam Handwerker, Operations

    Adam is based in GPC Partners’ Miami office where he leads all accounting and operations initiatives. His prior work experience includes almost two decades in accounting (public/private) and operations on Wall Street, including positions with: Mazars LLP, J.P. Morgan, P. Schoenfeld Asset Management, Riverloft Capital, Pebb Capital and GQG Partners. Adam founded Data Reprise, a boutique consulting firm for small-medium size businesses. Adam graduated from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana) with a B.S. in Accountancy and is a licensed CPA.

  • Albert Ghitis, Operations & Asset Management

    Albert is an accomplished hospitality executive and entrepreneur who contributes his operational expertise to various GPC assets. He is the founder of RedBike Studios, a fast-growing retail concept and GPC sister company. Albert has held operational roles at world-famous luxury hotels in including The Plaza Hotel and New York Palace Hotel. He earned Master’s degrees from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration and the London School of Economics, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Brown University where he graduated with honors.
